COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A'ja Wilson scored 17 points, Alaina Coates had another double-double and No. 2 South Carolina used its inside game to move to 20-0 for a second straight season, pounding Mississippi 81-62 on Thursday night.

The 6-foot-5 Wilson and 6-4 Coates were mostly unstoppable for the Gamecocks (8-0 Southeastern Conference), who won their seventh in row over Ole Miss (10-10, 2-5) in easy fashion.

Tiffany Mitchell had 15 points and while Coates finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds, her 10th game this season with double figure points and rebounds.

Shandricka Sessom had 26 points, Mississippi's only player in double figures.

NO. 3 NOTRE DAME 54, GEORGIA TECH 42

ATLANTA (AP) - Brianna Turner scored 15 points, Lindsay Allen added 14 and Notre Dame took a sluggish victory over Georgia Tech.

The Irish (20-1, 8-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) have won 13 straight, but their point total was a season low as they struggled for three quarters beyond the arc and at the free-throw line before taking charge in the fourth.

Aaliyah Whiteside, who began the game leading the ACC with a 21.8 scoring average, finished with 12 points for Georgia Tech (12-9, 2-6 ACC).

Before Mabrey hit from the left side, the Irish had missed 13 of 14 on 3s. They finished just 2 for 16 beyond the arc.

NO. 7 OHIO STATE 76, NORTHWESTERN 73

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Kelsey Mitchell scored 27 points for Ohio State to fuel a fourth-quarter comeback and the Buckeyes rallied to beat Northwestern.

Mitchell had 3 points and a steal during a 7-0 run that gave the Buckeyes the lead for good in the final two minutes.

Alexa Hart and Cait Craft scored 14 points apiece for Ohio State (16-4, 8-1 Big Ten) while Ameryst Alston added 11.

Nia Coffey led Northwestern with 23 points. The Wildcats (13-8, 2-7) have dropped four in a row.

NO. 10 TEXAS A&M 59, ALABAMA 56

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Jordan Jones had 15 points and five assists and Texas A&M survived a late rally to beat Alabama.

Jones' teammate Courtney Walker also finished with 14 points after scoring eight in the final quarter to help Texas A&M (15-5, 5-2 SEC) withstand a 9-2 run in the middle of the period that gave Alabama (13-8, 2-6) a lead with less than three minutes to play.

Jones took a charge from Alabama's Karyla Middlebrook in the final seconds, and Alabama's potential game-winning bucket was waved off.

Quanetria Bolton led Alabama with 16 points and Middlebrook added 15.

NO. 11 FLORIDA STATE 96, WAKE FOREST 55

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Brittany Brown had 22 points, nine rebounds, 11 assists and four steals and Florida State cruised to its seventh-straight win.

Shakayla Thomas added 16 points and Ivey Slaughter and Maria Conde had 15 apiece for the Seminoles (17-4, 7-1 ACC).

The Demon Deacons (11-10, 2-6) outscored Florida State 24-21 in the second quarter but were outscored 48-22 in the second half.

Freshman Ariel Stephenson came off the bench for 20 points, one shy of her career high 10 for Wake Forest.

VANDERBILT 71, NO. 12 KENTUCKY 69

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Christa Reed scored 19, including two of her season-high five 3-pointers in the final 1:26, to lead Vanderbilt past Kentucky, snapping a nine-game skid against the Wildcats.

Rebekah Dahlman added 18 points, Rachel Bell scored 15 and Marqu'es Webb had eight points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots for Vanderbilt.

Makayla Epps made two free throws and then a layup to trim Kentucky's deficit to one with 15 seconds remaining, but Minta Spears made 1 of 2 foul shots and Webb blocked a potential winning jumper by Kentucky's Janee Thompson with two seconds to go.

Epps led the Wildcats with a season-high 25 points.

NO. 13 MISSISSIPPI STATE 65, NO. 19 TENNESSEE 63, OT

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi State overcame a 12-point third-quarter deficit to knock offTennessee for the first time in school history.

Dominique Dillingham and Victoria Vivians scored 14 points each for the Bulldogs (18-4, 5-3 Southeastern Conference), who overcame just 3-for-16 shooting from 3-point range.

Tennessee (12-8, 3-4) had double digits from three players with Jordan Reynolds leading the way with 15 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

MSU won when Tennessee guard Te'a Cooper missed a contested layup at the end of overtime.

NO. 14 LOUISVILLE 75, CLEMSON 33

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville cruised past Clemson for the Cardinals' 13th consecutive victory despite the absence of leading scorer and rebounder Myisha Hines-Allen.

Hines-Allen, who leads the Cardinals at 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds, missed the game to attend her grandfather's funeral in New Jersey.

Briahanna Jackson scored 13 points to lead Louisville (16-5, 9-0 ACC).

Gadson Lefft scored 11 points and was the only player in double figures for Clemson (4-16, 0-7), which has lost eight straight.

NO. 17 MIAMI 57, VIRGINIA TECH 45

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Adrienne Motley scored 17 points and No. 17 Miami overcame a cold third quarter to beat Virginia Tech 57-45 on Thursday night.

The Hurricanes (18-3, 6-2 ACC) led 36-23 at the half but only scored four points in the third quarter. The Hokies (14-6, 2-5) didn't make much of a dent in the lead, scoring just eight points as the two times combined for 5-of-35 shooting.

Jessica Thomas, who finished with 14 points, closed the game with four free throws.

NO. 22 MISSOURI 52, LSU 46

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Lindsey Cunningham hit three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points to lead Missouri past LSU.

Morgan Stock scored 12 - on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.

Missouri (17-4, 4-4 Southeastern Conference) went into the half leading 33-16 but went scoreless for more than seven minutes to open the third.

Alexis Hyder scored a season-high 23 points, on 8-of-11 shooting, and had five steals to lead LSU (8-13, 2-6).
