HERMANN, Mo. - Hermann was able to pull away from Chamois in the third quarter to win 52-33 on Wednesday in the Hermann Tournament.
Chamois trailed 12-8 after the first quarter and 23-15 at halftime, but Hermann outscored the Lady Pirates 16-8 in the third quarter to take a 39-23 lead into the final period.
Cheyenne Hemeyer led Chamois with 10 points.
Brooke Grosse (16), Allison Stiers (14) and Emily Engemann (10) all scored in double figures for Hermann.
Chamois (8-10) will play New Haven in the third-place game at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
