Minor injuries Friday after three-car wreck

One person was treated for minor injuries after a three-vehicle accident Friday morning in Jefferson City.

Police reports show the accident occurred at 7:48 a.m. at West Truman Boulevard and Horner Road.

A vehicle driven by Samantha Cook, of Holts Summit, was stopped at the traffic signal southbound on West Truman Boulevard, just before Horner Road.

A vehicle driven by Angela Park, of Jefferson City, was stopped behind Cook.

A vehicle driven by Gladys Dettmann, of Mokane, was going south on West Truman, behind Park, and struck the rear of Park's vehicle. That pushed Park's vehicle into Cook's vehicle.

Park was taken to a local hospital for treatment on minor injuries.

Dettmann and Cook had no reported injuries.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts.

• Two women were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:48 p.m. Thursday on Route AA at County Road 4008 in Callaway County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Nissan Altima, driven eastbound by Nancy H. Michaelson, 71, of Holts Summit, pulled out of a private drive into the path of a 2003 Chrysler, driven southbound by Joyce E. Dickson, 66, of Tebbetts.

Dickson and Michaelson were taken to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Both were wearing seat belts.

• A Gravois Mills man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 10:45 p.m. Thursday on Ottersway Road south of Zenna Road in Morgan County.

The Patrol reported a 1999 Ford F150, driven southbound by Jeremy S. Callen, 21, failed to negotiate a curve and went off the right side of the road, striking a tree.

Callen was taken to University Hospital in Columbia.

He was wearing a seat belt.
