Mid-Missouri residents hurt in wrecks

A Camdenton woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday on Bear Paw Road at Bear Paw Cut Threw Road in Camden County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2008 Dodge Avenger, driven northbound by Coleman D. Roberts, 16, of Camdenton, was making a left turn and turned into the path of a 2011 Toyota Tundra, driven eastbound by Kathleen M. Buczko, 63, of Camdenton.

Buczko was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

A Jefferson City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday on Route CC south of Lakewood Road in Cole County.

The Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Focus, driven southbound by Wayne L. Norman, 34, swerved to avoid an animal in the road and went off the left side of the road, striking a culvert.

Norman was taken to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was wearing a seat belt.
