Your Opinion: "Godless left' threatens Constitution

Regarding the January "American Rifleman" article "She Flips, He Flops," Hilary Clinton remarks in a group of donors in which she said that the Supreme Court "got it wrong" on the Second Amendment. She knows full well that if she is elected president and has the opportunity to replace just one of the justices in the Heller and McDonald majorities with an anti-gun nominee a new Supreme Court would overturn those landmark decisions as soon as it possibly could. Without the individual right to keep and bear arms there would then be nothing standing in the way of federal gun confiscation."

The Declaration of Independence says we are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights which are incapable of being alienated, surrendered or transferred. "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."

The Godless left are not consistent to the spirit of the Constitution and are using special interest and politicians to shape the Constitution to suit themselves. The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their Constitution of government. The American people have a fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms and the Second Amendment protects the individual.

Communism was born from the unintended consequences of the political, economic and social principles and polices advocated by Karl Marx and political correctness was born from policies from the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Indeed communism and political correctness have much in common. Both have a great zeal and passion to dominate the whole world and everyone must believe in their ideology or else. Both limit freedom of speech and free expression while political correctness targets the first and second Amendments of the U.S. Constitution to the point of extinction. Vladimir Putin wants to reconstitute the former Soviet empire.

There is one thing I am going to try to make very, very clear. Sometimes we must tolerate things we do not necessarily like. If we start drawing up walls against what some of us think is obscene, we will wake up one morning and find walls drawn up everywhere we did not expect and that's not freedom.
