Two new Jefferson City businesses are offering a variety of combined services for customers to pamper themselves - all in one place.
Mo Willoh's Willoh Essentials and Doris Guillory's Loving Hands Massage opened recently in a shared space at 328 E. Capitol Ave.
"We met through mutual friends and discovered that we had similar philosophies about taking care of people," Willoh said. "We thought that our businesses were very complementary, and we have a lot of fun together."
Willoh brings 20 years of experience in hair and skin care to her new business.
"Willoh Essentials offers hair services for men and women including cutting, styling/bridal and a full range of color services in a setting that allows clients to relax and rejuvenate," she said. "Also offered are primarily organic, paraben-free custom skin care products, waxing and 100 percent organic, steam-distilled aromatherapy products."
Willoh custom blends the skin care products she sells, which include cleansers, lotions, serums, toners, exfoliating scrubs and an anti-aging night cream. She plans to add a selection of Moroccan oils as well.
Willoh Essentials also offers the Kevin Murphy hair color line.
"This is an ammonia-free color line ... that nourishes the hair rather than damaging it," Willoh said.
Guillory offers a different type of comfort with Loving Hands Massage.
"I offer intuitive massage using several different modalities I have learned throughout the years," Guillory said. "I incorporate Swedish, deep tissue, Reiki, cranial and stretching of the limbs. I let my hands guide me to where the issues of pain are in the body in order to give each client a very personalized experience that is truly therapeutic."
Willoh Essentials and Loving Hands Massage will host a joint open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, offering product samples as well as wine, cheese and appetizers.
