Jamestown man killed in accident

A Jamestown man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in Moniteau County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Edward Howard, 52, was on Route Y, just south of Bethel School Road, around 5:50 p.m.

He ran off the right side of the road and began to skid.

Howard was partially ejected from the motorcycle, which overturned, colliding with a ditch before coming to a stop.

• A Camdenton man was treated for minor injuries after a one-vehicle accident Sunday night in Camden County.

Patrol reports show David Spalding, 62, was at the Missouri 7 and Missouri 5 north junction around 7:25 p.m.

He failed to stop, went across 5 and struck a ditch.

Spalding was wearing a seat belt.

• A Camdenton woman was treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in Camden County.

Patrol reports show Melissa Pinson, 23, was on Westbound U.S. 54, just east of West Lake Park, around 8 a.m.

She was stopped in traffic, waiting to make a left turn, when she was struck in the rear by Elizabeth Wood, 65, of Macks Creek.

Wood had no reported injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
