NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - A 38-point first quarter jolted the New Bloomfield Wildcats to a 98-57 win Thursday against the Tuscumbia Lions.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 38-16 lead after one quarter and extended their lead to 57-27 by halftime.
New Bloomfield led 75-51 after three quarters and outscored Tuscumbia 23-6 in the final period.
Nathan Simmons led Tuscumbia with 17 points. Matthew Hill had nine points and seven rebounds for the Lions.
New Bloomfield (20-3) hosts Russellville on Tuesday.
