ST. ELIZABETH - The Tuscumbia Lions captured a 49-46 decision Tuesday night in a back-and-forth contest with the St. Elizabeth Hornets.
Tuscumbia led 12-10 after one quarter and 22-20 at the half. St. Elizabeth outscored Tuscumbia 12-11 in the third quarter and trailed 33-32 with one period remaining.
Orrie Patterson and Ben Wilson had 12 points each for Tuscumbia, while David Huddleston added 10.
Mason Kemna tossed in a game-high 16 points for St. Elizabeth. Dakota Kemna added 11, while Wyatt Stiles totaled 10.
St. Elizabeth (5-13) will play Thursday at Linn.
Tuscumbia (15-5) will play Thursday at New Bloomfield.
