ASHLAND, Mo. - It took overtime, but Linn defeated Fulton 78-74 on Saturday in the thirdplace game of the Southern Boone Classic.
Tony Mebruer led the Wildcats with 17 points, Alex Strope had 15, Nick Nenninger had 12 and Ryan Deeken had 10.
Ben Klebba had 11 rebounds to go with six assists and five points.
Kalin Mitchell led all scorers with 20 points for Fulton. Radarion Glover had 15 points, and De'areyon Estes had 11.
Linn led 17-13 after one quarter, 33-29 at the half and 47-39 after three quarters, but the Hornets caught up to force overtime at 70-all.
Fulton is 12-7. Linn (13-6) hosts Russellville on Tuesday.
