COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Helias junior varsity team closed out its season with a third-place finish Saturday at the Hickman Junior Varsity Tournament.
Three Crusaders finished first in their weight class: Will Farmer at 145 pounds, Zach Vanderfeltz at 182 and Cole Czarnecki at 195.
Jackson Schrimpf (120) finished third.
Jays finish out season
The Jefferson City JV and C teams finished out their seasons Saturday.
The JV team competed at the Seckman Tournament, taking fifth out of 10 teams.
Kane Carpenter took first at 220 pounds. Cameron Cooper (113) and Devonte Finney (285) each finished third. The Jays were undefeated in duals this season.
The C team competed at the Hickman Junior Varsity Tournament, finishing fourth. Ryan Mohlman finished first at 285 pounds, Kendall Otto (220) and Tom McCarthy (182) took second and Tristen Huber (152) finished third.
