A Jefferson City man was placed on two years unsupervised probation for pleading guilty in Cole County to an amended charge in connection with a November 2014 lockdown of the Lincoln University campus.
Aaron Burns, 20, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor third-degree assault. He had been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
He is not to trespass on Lincoln property and not to possess firearms.
Court documents showed witnesses placed Burns on the Lincoln campus with a firearm, and they said Burns pointed a gun at their heads.
Authorities said Burns has a long criminal history, including several gun charges.
