EUGENE, Mo. - New Bloomfield spoiled Eugene's Homecoming on Friday with a 72-56 defeat of the Eagles.
Derek Shikles led the Wildcats with 20 points. Grant Nichols had 17, Jak Kitchens had 15, and Jacob Brown had 11 for New Bloomfield.
Corey Love led Eugene with 13 points. Zach Bond had 12, Chase Dickerson added 11 and Blake Rains had 10.
New Bloomfield led 15-10 after one quarter, 32-23 at the half and 51-38 after three.
New Bloomfield (18-3) hosts Bunceton on Monday and Eugene (14-8) plays Tuesday at Fatima.
