The Helias JV made a game-winning shot with less than a second remaining Wednesday as the Crusaders beat Battle 50-49 in the semifinals of the Helias JV Tournament.
Jake VanLoo, who scored 14 points for Helias, caught the ball off a tip and threw it up for the game-winning basket.
Drew Boessen led the Crusaders with 18 points.
Helias (10-5) will face Rock Bridge in the title game at 7:30 p.m. today.
