BURLINGTON, Iowa — The Jefferson City Lady Jays blanked Ankeny (Iowa) 2-0 to open play in their bracket Friday at the Tournament of Champions.
Megan Foster got the shutout in goal for the Lady Jays.
Katie Tambke got the Lady Jays on the board in the first half with a goal assisted by Tayler LePage.
In the second half, LePage made it 2-0 off an assist by Tambke.
Jefferson City (14-4) will play LeMont (Ill.) at 11:45 a.m. today.
