A Cole County Residential Services transport vehicle was involved in accident Thursday afternoon in Jefferson City.
Police reports show the accident occurred in the 1700 block of Tanner Bridge Road around 3:14 p.m.
For unknown reasons, the female driver lost control of the vehicle and it sheered off the bottom of a utility poll.
The driver and a male passenger were taken to local hospitals to be treated for minor injuries.
Power was knocked out to an apartment complex in that area, and the road was blocked until the power was restored.
