The Foundation for State Technical College of Missouri received a $100,000 cash donation from Legends Bank toward the Investing in Tomorrow’s Eagles major gifts campaign.
Funds from the gift are being used to support the renovation of the Osage County Community Center (OCCC), which is managed by State Technical College of Missouri.
Since 1993, the OCCC has served the needs of Linn and the greater Osage County area. The facility is in need of major renovations and repairs. Private support of the OCCC ensures the college can continue to provide the facility at a reduced cost or in some cases for free to civic and community organizations.
The Investing in Tomorrow’s Eagles campaign is the first and largest fundraising campaign in the 55-year history of the college.
