Boys Tennis: Helias wins title

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Helias Crusaders captured team honors Saturday at the Hannibal Tennis Tournament.

Helias, which finished with 28 team points, captured five of six singles titles and three of four doubles crowns.

Going 2-0 in singles were Dalton Buschjost, Ben Mitan, Ryan Pollock, Dylan Grawe and Tristan Grawe. T.J. Hagenhoff was 1-1.

Finishing 2-0 in doubles were the teams of Cance Pool and Jordan Roling, Mark Lamb and Jacob Wolken, and Will Holloway and Jack Loehr. Going 1-1 was the team of Seth Pezley and Jordan Cowell.

Hannibal was second in the three-team event with 22 points, while Troy was third with 10.

Helias is back in action Wednesday in the Bruin Invitational in Columbia.
