KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City police are looking for suspects after a 3-month-old baby was shot in the hand while he was in a car with his mother.
The Kansas City Star reports (http://j.mp/1T5AIc3) the baby's mother told police she was driving early Saturday when she heard gunshots. She pulled over and saw that her child had been shot in the right hand. The mother then drove her son to a hospital.
Police say the car's rear passenger window had been broken out, and that a bullet had struck the rear quarter panel on the passenger side. No suspects have been identified.
