VIENNA, Mo. — The Vienna Eagles rolled to an 11-1 win against Newburg on Wednesday in a game shortened to five innings due to the run rule.
Logan Agan helped the Eagles to the victory with his arm and his bat. He got the win on the mound by throwing a complete-game two-hitter and striking out 10. At the plate, he had a single and two RBI.
Also for the Eagles, Taner Helton had two hits and three RBI, Ethan Bull had one hit and two RBI and McCrae Fuller had a single and a triple.
Vienna is now 9-6 and will play today at home against Steelville.
