Three injured in two-car wreck

Three people were treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Jefferson City.

Police reports show the accident at the U.S. 54 exit ramp to Missouri 179 occurred at 7:42 a.m.

A vehicle driven by Madison Morris, 18, of Holts Summit, was going south on the exit ramp and was attempting to stop for traffic ahead but skidded on the wet pavement.

She collided into the rear of a vehicle driven by Gay King, 54, of Columbia.

King was taken to a local hospital for her injuries, while Morris and her passenger, Caysee Temmon, 17, of Jefferson City, were not transported.

All those involved were wearing seat belts.

• A Mokane man was treated for serious injuries after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Callaway County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 10:13 a.m. on Route CC, just north of County Road 460.

Brandon Fritz, 22, was going south and went off the right side of the road. He overcorrected, causing the vehicle to travel across both lanes of traffic.

The vehicle overturned and Fritz, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.

• A Fulton man was treated for serious injuries after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Callaway County.

Patrol reports show the accident occurred at the intersection of County Road 105 and Route Z around 3:10 p.m.

Walker Pabst, 16, lost control of his vehicle on the county gravel road, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Pabst was not wearing a seat belt.
