Three softball Tigers drafted

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Missouri softball team had three players selected Thursday in the National Pro Fastpitch draft held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Tigers infielder Sami Fagan was taken with the fourth overall pick by the Akron (Ohio) Racers.

Outfielder Emily Crane was selected with the No. 7 pick, the first pick of the second round, by the Scrap Yard Dogs of The Woodlands, Texas.

The next to go was outfielder Taylor Gadbois, who was picked by the Dallas Charge with the 15th overall pick, the third of the third round.

Another player with Missouri ties, Missouri-St. Louis pitcher Hannah Perryman, was picked by the Racers with the 37th pick, the fourth pick of the sixth and final round.
