ASHLAND - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons improved to 16-4 on the season with a 9-1 win against Southern Boone on Tuesday.
Natalie Mudd rapped out two hits and drove in three runs for the winners. Lydia Pointer added one hit and two RBI and Macyn Wilbers had a pair of hits.
Payton Staggs got the win, throwing a three-hitter. The lone run was earned and she walked four and struck out five.
The Lady Falcons will play Friday and Saturday in the Carthage Tournament.
In the JV game, Southern Boone posted a 3-1 win.
Cameron Dulle had one hit and scored the lone run for Blair Oaks (16-2). Meredith Eisterhold was the losing pitcher.
