The Helias Lady Crusaders dropped just four games in posting a 9-0 win against Father Tolton on Thursday at Washington Park.
Singles winners for Helias included Ashley Dowdwn (6-1, 6-1), Abby Dowden (6-0, 6-1), Liz Conley (6-0, 6-0), Catherine Conley (6-0, 6-0), Grace Verslues (6-0, 6-0) and Emmi Theroff (won by forfeit).
In doubles, the team of Dowden and Dowden won 8-0, Conley and Conley won 8-1, while Verslues and Theroff won by forfeit.
Helias (14-3-1) will wrap up the regular season Saturday at the Hannibal Invitational.
The Lady Crusaders will start the Class 1 District 8 Team Tournament next Tuesday at Kirksville. Helias is the No. 1 seed and will face either Moberly or Mexico in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. The championship dual is slated for 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Palmyra is the No. 2 seed, while other participating schools are Kirksville and Fulton.
