Dear Editor:
The sound penetrating throughout the numerous trees on my property a few short weeks ago signaled that summer was slipping away. Several locust shells had made their appearance on my driveway but this citizen is not sure she's ready for the changing weather and what it brings with it. Having been born a Sagittarius one week before Christmas, December was always her favorite time of year and she always looked forward to it, especially with all the food and the numerous gifts that accompanied same.
But today unsettling matters confront us on all sides that should and do concern all conscientious and dedicated Americans. Others pouring into our country do not have the same standards that we have been taught. And it is obvious their countries don't want them back. And our money is being used to help them through not only our government but through organizations and other means.
The Obama regime is performing the impossible and incredible task of stripping us of our military protection by sending our servicemen overseas to fight in those God-forsaken foreign lands. Far too many of our service people have been and are being killed with Americans being protected here at home by law enforcement personnel who are limited in number. We have an invasion of foreigners from Africa, Cuba, Mexico and other places who are causing rioting in cities and towns in our country. Our government is providing food, clothing, hospitalization and other services with taxpayers' money.
Just a few short weeks ago this citizen began writing a short item about Joe Biden whom I thought might be posturing himself to run in another political office, not thinking it was for president of the United States. On one of the programs he was lining up individuals on the stage to have their picture taken. At that time it was my thinking he was up to something as he seemed to be positioning himself by looking toward the camera as he was doing so. And now it is known why he was performing in this manner. Had he been told that Hilary Clinton might be in serious trouble and he would stand a good chance to replace her.
Well, it has happened. It is felt that too many candidates are vying for that office, some of whom don't appear to possess the necessary qualifications.
