Dear Editor:
Well the latest Council tax increase reminded me why I support term limits. It would also be nice if we knew how the candidates actually thought before we elected them to manage our tax dollars.
Appears that Jefferson City is following other Missouri cities run by professional bureaucrats in lieu of the interest of voting taxpayers. I started believing this right or wrong when I saw the department heads "high-fiving" each other after the first parks tax vote. Salary increase for everyone, yeah!
Makes me wonder how much the budget has grown over the past 25 years. We should force a recall or petition to stop the utility tax if we can. I will sign.
