PRAIRIE HOME, Mo. - The Jamestown Lady Eagles beat Prairie Home 12-0 Thursday.
Jamestown freshman Alyssa Reynolds extended her record to 3-1 with a one-hitter and four strikeouts in a complete-game (five innings) effort.
The Lady Eagles plated six runs in the first inning, two in the second and four in the third inning. Mackenzie Strother (3-3), Darian Wolfe (3-3) and Alli Muri (2-2) were all perfect at the plate for the Lady Eagles. Wolfe and Muri had three RBI a piece. Reynolds also made an impact at the plate with a double that drove in two runs.
Five innings was all the Lady Eagles needed to capture its third win of the season.
Jamestown (3-1) returns to the field Sept. 8 at Pilot Grove.
