Baseball: St. Elizabeth, Eugene 6

ST. ELIZABETH - The St. Elizabeth Hornets picked up their first win of the fall season, topping Eugene 8-6 on Thursday.

Dakota Kemna had two hits and one RBI for the winners, while Tanner Wilde-Prenger had a double and two RBI. Aaron Blumberg chipped in a pair of hits.

Kemna was the winning pitcher, working the first four innings. He allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and struck out two. Preston Otto pitched the final three inings to get the save, allowing five runs (three earned) on three hits.

St. Elizabeth will host Tuscumbia on Tuesday.
