RUSSELLVILLE - The Russellville Indians slipped past the St. Elizabeth Hornets 3-2 in action Tuesday.
Alex Goeller, Nolan Holtmeyer and Hayden Irwin had two hits apiece for St. Elizabeth.
Goeller was the tough-luck loser, as he threw a complete game and gave up just two earned runs while scattering five hits and striking out eight.
St. Elizabeth (0-2) will host Eugene on Thursday.
