WAYNESVILLE - The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped just four games Monday in sweeping a tennis dual from the Waynesville Lady Tigers.
Singles winners for Jefferson City included Athira Nambiar (8-0); Erica Dunn (8-0); Esther Ruboneka (8-1); Susan Meyer (8-1); Bailey Patrick (8-0); and Ali Lewis (8-0).
Doubles winners for the Lady Jays were Nambiar and Dunn (8-0), Meyer and Patrick (8-1), and Ruboneka and Erica Overfelt (8-2).
Jefferson City (7-2) returns to action today at Washington Park against Sedalia Smith-Cotton.
