A Barnett woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident at 1 a.m. Wednesday on Old Highway 5 north of Indigo Road in Morgan County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, driven southbound by Kristen N. Rhoads, 25, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the road. Rhoads overcorrected and slid off the road, overturning through a fence. Rhoads was partially ejected through the driver's window.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by Morgan County Coroner Maynard Bill Jones.
Rhoads was not wearing a seat belt.
• A Belle woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 63 south of Harrison Street in Osage County.
The Patrol reported a 1998 Chevrolet S10, driven northbound by Derek M. Boehm, 25, of Freeburg, was stopped in traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2002 Honda Civic, driven northbound by Amara K. Price, 25, of Belle.
Price, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Capital Region Medical Center.
Boehm was wearing a seat belt.
• An Ashland teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:25 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 63 north of Crofton Road in Boone County.
According to the Patrol report, a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country, driven northbound by Elizabeth A. Beeler, 19, of Ashland, struck the rear of a 1995 GMC WCA tractor trailer, driven northbound by Robert E. Nichols, 56, Sturgeon.
Beeler was taken to University of Missouri Hospital.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
• A Fulton man was treated for serious injuries after a two vehicle crash Thursday in Caldwell County.
Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 10 a.m. at Route C and County Road 403.
Thomas Wetherell, 78, attempted to cross the road and travelled into the path of a vehicle driven by Patrica Brewer, 56, Steedman.
Wetherell was driving an ATV and had no safety device on.
Brewer was wearing a seat belt in her vehicle and had no reported injuries.
