ELDON, Mo. - Julie Harris' inside-the-park home run accounted for the lone run Saturday afternoon as the Helias Lady Crusaders defeated the Bolivar Lady Liberators 1-0 for the Class 3 District 10 softball championship.
In the sixth inning, Harris smacked the ball to the left-center field gap to send the second-seeded Lady Crusaders past No. 1 Bolivar and into the sectionals.
Lindsey Steinbeck pitched a complete game five-hitter for the win in the circle.
For Bolivar, AnnaMarie McGlone pitched seven innings. She struck out eight and gave up seven hits in the loss.
Helias (18-10) advances to play Wednesday at Sullivan.
