Nspire Nutrition, a nutritional supplement store in downtown Jefferson City, closed last week.
The store, which was located at 310 Jefferson St., offered a variety of protein and nutrition powders, vitamins, minerals and protein bars since opening in May 2014.
Owner Jason Varner said new competition in the local nutrition industry made it difficult to keep the store open, but he hopes to reboot the store sometime in the coming year.
