ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. - St. Elizabeth defeated Crocker 2-1 on Friday to win the Class 1 District 3 championship.
In the sixth inning, Sara Struemph drove in Courtney Scheulen - who tripled - for the winning run.
Regan Wilde was the winning pitcher in the circle, allowing five hits and striking out five batters.
Struemph finished with two hits and the game-winning RBI and Brooke Struemph had a hit for a RBI.
St. Elizabeth (8-14) moves on to host Van-Far in sections on Wednesday.
