The St. Joseph Cathedral boys and girls teams both took first place in a PAL cross country meet hosted by St. Martins on Tuesday at Binder Park.
The girls' medalists were Josie Starr (third, 9:37), Paige Allen (fifth, 9:55), Danielle Buker (eighth, 10:04), Natalie Schlup (ninth, 10:05), Avery Massman (16th, 10:27) and Ava Morrisey (26th, 10:43).
The boys' medalists were Jenson Starr (first, 8:05), Blake Bauer (fifth, 8:42), Will Roehl (eighth, 8:53), Peyton Wright (10th, 9:01), Will Kuster (13th, 9:06), Tommy Roehl (15th, 9:15) and Jacob Lanigan (22nd, 9:25).
St. Stanislaus finishes fifth
The St. Stanislaus boys and girls teams both finished fifth in a PAL cross country meet Tuesday at Binder Park.
Earning a medal for the boys team was Jack Crull (third, 8:35), while the girls medalists were Grace Castle (second, 9:34) and Alexa Lamb (11th, 10:09).
