Jefferson City driver hurt in crash

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson City.

According to Jefferson City police, officers responded at 3:20 p.m. to West Truman Boulevard at Horner Road for a minor injury wreck.

The investigation showed that a pickup truck driven by Mark Bruenger, 62, Jefferson City, was traveling northbound through the intersection and its front end struck the front end of a car driven by Hallee Cafourek, 18, Jefferson City, which was stopped southbound in the left turn lane of West Truman, preparing to turn left.

Bruenger had no reported injuries. Cafourek was treated for what were described as "apparent but not disabling" injuries.

All those involved were wearing seat belts.
