Helias breaks soccer scoring record, downs Hannibal

Braden Remmert broke the Helias single-game scoring record with seven goals in a 10-0 rout of Hannibal on Saturday.

The seven goals also cemented Remmert in the Missouri State record books. The mark put the senior midfielder in a tie for third place in state history.

Sam Heckart, Grant Stokes and Matthew Schulte netted the other goals, while Ben Mitan pitched the shutout in goal.

Arris Pardolas notched two assists, while Heckert and Mitan also contributed to goals.

Helias moves to 11-6 and will host Jefferson City on Monday.

The Helias junior varsity defeated Hannibal 2-0 for its eighth straight win.

Elliott Lammers scored both goals off of assists from Carson Mudd. Sam Verry claimed the shutout in between the posts.

Helias JV (12-4) hosts Jefferson City on Monday.
