Girls Volleyball: Blair Oaks win tourney

ELDON, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons went won the Eldon Tournament on Saturday, going 5-0-1 overall.

In pool play, the Lady Falcons began with a 25-8, 25-18 defeat of Southern Boone. They then beat Fulton 25-13, 25-9 before splitting with Metro Academy 25-17, 17-25.

Taylor Stockman led Blair Oaks in pool play with 14 kills. Paige Rackers and Ryan Dudenhoeffer had 10 apiece. Allison Maxwell had nine blocks, and Sadie Turner had 24 assists and 10 digs. Jayde Peters had 18 assists and eight aces. Rebecca Schroeder had 12 digs, and Alexa Stegemann had nine digs and three aces.

In the quarterfinals, Blair Oaks defeated Mexico 25-5, 25-14. Turner had 21 assists, Rackers had seven kills, Maxwell and Dudenhoeffer each had four kills and Schroeder had eight digs.

In semifinal play, the Lady Falcons topped Boonville in three sets: 23-25, 25-18, 25-20. Maxwell had nine kills and three blocks. Rackers had nine kills, Turner had 16 assists, Peters had 13 assists, and Stegemann had 12 digs.

Blair Oaks defeated Jefferson City High School 25-9, 25-22 in the championship match. Stockman had nine kills, Rackers had six and Stegemann had four. Stegemann also had three aces and six digs. Dudenhoeffer had three blocks, Schroeder had eight digs and three aces, and Turner had 15 assists.

Blair Oaks (20-2-1) plays Monday at Owensville.
