South-central Missouri man charged in fatal crash

WEST PLAINS, Mo. (AP) - A south-central Missouri man has been charged in a deadly crash.

The West Plains Daily Quill (http://bit.ly/1Q2RNp2) reports that 33-year-old Kevin Matthew Stephens, of Pomona, is jailed in Howell County on an involuntary manslaughter charge. No attorney is listed for him in online court records.

He is accused of driving under the influence of methamphetamine, cannabinoids and opiates in an April 22 crash that killed David Riley. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Stephens crossed the center line before colliding with Riley's vehicle.

The patrol says Stephens has multiple convictions for driving while intoxicated. His license was revoked at the time of the crash.
