ROLLA, Mo. - Isiah Sykes (Helias High School) broke out for a 16-point performance Saturday in Central Missouri's 92-73 win against Missouri S&T.
Sykes hit a 3-pointer to give the Mules a lead at 39-38, a lead they wouldn't give back.
Sykes, who is averaging 5 points a game, was 4-of-10 from the field, 3-of-4 from 3-point range and 5-of-7 from the charity stripe.
The Mules (4-0) return to action at 6 p.m. Friday against Southeastern Oklahoma State in Warrensburg.
