Men's Basketball: Cougars rolling early

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia College Cougars are cruising along in the early part of the regular season.

The Cougars (6-0, 2-0 American Midwest Conference) defeated Lyon College (Ark.) 72-42 Saturday for their sixth straight win, all at home.

Zach Rockers (Helias High School) contributed 10 points and led all players with six rebounds. Rockers is averaging 12 points per game, and is 29th in the NAIA with nine rebounds a game.

Columbia, currently ranked No. 16 in the NAIA polls, takes their home floor once again Friday against Robert Morris (Ill.).
