Your Opinion: Will Missouri accept refugees?

Dear Editor:

For the last two days the news is full of the terrorist attacks in Paris last week. Not so prominent in the news is the president's plan to "import" up to 100,000 so-called Syrian refugees to the U.S. in the next year (10,000 this month alone). Officials at the FBI and Homeland Security have repeatedly warned that there is no infrastructure in place to properly vet refugees coming into the country, making the United States a prime target for ISIS terrorists claiming asylum.

When a person has been designated a "refugee" a plethora of public assistance benefits are available. In light of all this, a number of governors have publicly declared their states will not accept these refugees, including Alabama, Texas, Arkansas and Michigan. Where does Gov. Nixon stand on this?? Has anybody heard from his office on this?
