CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Tiffany Mitchell scored 18 points to lead No. 2 South Carolina to a sluggish 67-41 win over Clemson on Wednesday night.

The Gamecocks struggled at times against the Tigers' zone, but started on a 33-9 run that carried it through the end of the third quarter.

The Gamecocks were 7-of-25 on 3-pointers. Clemson tried just seven shots outside the arc, making three.

Justice Wright scored a career-high 13 to lead Clemson.

NO. 3 NOTRE DAME 74, TOLEDO 39

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Kathryn Westbeld scored 13 points and Notre Dame held Toledo to just 23.7 percent shooting in a dominant win.

Brenae Harris, Mikaela Boyd and Sophie Reecher each finished with eight points for Toledo.

Notre Dame broke it open with a 17-0 third quarter run, capped by a Brianna Turner layup off a lob with 2:46 left in the third quarter.

NO. 4 TENNESSEE 74, PENN STATE 66

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Bashaara Graves didn't miss a shot, finishing with 24 points and 13 rebounds for Tennessee, which outlasted Penn State for its 24th consecutive home victory.

Tennessee hasn't lost at home since falling 75-71 to Kentucky on Feb. 16, 2014.

Graves shot 8 of 8 from the floor and 8 of 8 from the free-throw line to help Tennessee survive a game that had nine ties and 12 lead changes.

Peyton Whitted had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Penn State.

NO. 8 MARYLAND 105, HIGH POINT 50

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Shatori Walker-Kimbrough had a career-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Maryland to a second straight blowout win.

Brionna Jones also had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Terrapins, who opened the game on an 18-5 run and scored the last 16 points of the first half to make it 48-20 at the break.

Kaylah Keys had 12 points for High Point.

NO. 11 TEXAS 86, NORTHWESTERN STATE 33

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Imani Boyette had 25 points and 14 rebounds as Texas rolled to a victory over Northwestern State.

The 6-foot-7 senior Boyette shot 12 of 13 from the field and had eight offensive rebounds. Texas outscored Northwestern State 27-1 in the second quarter to take a 49-12 halftime lead.

Beatrice Attura scored 15 points for Northwestern State.

NO. 12 TEXAS A&M 72, NO. 14 DUKE 66

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams combined for eight of Texas A&M's nine points in overtime in a win over Duke.

Khaalia Hillsman's basket with 34 seconds left sent the game into overtime.

Walker hit half of her 16 shots to finish with 22 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Jordan Jones had 14 points for Texas A&M.

NO. 13 KENTUCKY 112, MOREHEAD STATE 57

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Makayla Epps recorded the second-ever triple-double in program history and Kentucky rolled to a victory over Morehead State.

Epps scored 21 points, and had career-highs with 11 rebounds and 12 assists. Leslie Nichols had the first triple-double in 1986.

Eriel McKee scored 16 to lead Morehead State.

NO. 23 Michigan State 66, GEORGIA 45

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Tori Jankoska made four 3-pointers to finish with 20 points and Michigan State beat Georgia.

The Spartans opened the second half on a 12-4 run to pull ahead 45-27 and Georgia was held scoreless for the first three-plus minutes of the fourth quarter.

Shacobia Barbee was held to 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting for Georgia. She recorded the Bulldogs' third all-time triple-double in their season opener.
