Lady Patriots 7th grade
The Thomas Jefferson seventh-grade basketball teams hosted a pair of doubleheaders recently.
On Friday, the Thomas Jefferson A team beat Gentry Middle School 25-17 as Kara Daly led the way with 10 points.
The B team dropped a 20-16 decision. Daja Crumble led the Lady Patriots with 11 points.
On Saturday, the A team downed Oakland Middle School 39-15. Daly had 16 points and Sarah Linthacum added 10.
The B team notched a 21-3 win as Ezinne Opara had a game-high eight points.
The A team is now 2-0 on the season and the B team is 1-1. Thoams Jefferson will host Smithton Middle School today.
