COLUMBIA - The Thomas Jefferson seventh-grade basketball teams both beat Oakland Middle School on Saturday.
The A team won 35-32 to improve to 2-0 on the season. Devin White led the way with 10 points.
The B team posted a 43-29 victory. Jamari Todd led the Patriots (1-1) with a double-double, notching 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Kobe Sands added 12 points, while Steveon Dove had 10 points and nine steals.
On Friday, the A team posted a 36-24 win at Gentry Middle School. White paced the team with nine points.
The B team lost by a score of 30-27. Dove had a team-high eight points.
