Two people were injured Friday afternoon during a two-vehicle accident in Jefferson City involving a Missouri Highway Patrol vehicle.
Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 1:50 p.m. at Clark Avenue and East Elm Street.
A Patrol vehicle driven by Adam Benne, 41, of Jefferson City, was attempting to turn onto Clark from East Elm and was struck on the driver's side door by a vehicle driven by Nathan Twyman, 29, of Jefferson City.
Benne, who was wearing a seat belt, had minor injuries but did not seek medical treatment.
Twyman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries.
