Jefferson City man sentenced for December chase

A Jefferson City man was sentenced to prison for pleading guilty to charges in connection with a chase from last December.

Terrian Davis, 22, was charged with resisting arrest and driving while revoked.

He was sentenced to four years in prison, with his sentence to run concurrent with all other sentences against him, and he was given credit for time already served.

According to police reports, Davis was the driver of a vehicle that led officers on a chase in the city's east end, beginning near Hutton Lane and traveling to U.S. 50 East at the city limits.

The pursuit, which began as a routine traffic stop, ended when Davis struck a deer in the road, causing his vehicle to lose control and crash off Ellis Boulevard in the Broadmoor Apartment Complex.

Davis fled the area, leaving two passengers in his vehicle who sustained minor to moderate injuries and were taken to hospitals for treatment.
