COLUMBIA - The Columbia College Cougars went 2-0 in their season-opening appearance in the Cougars vs. Cancer Classic.
Columbia opened the event Friday with a 59-48 win against McPherson College and followed with an 80-67 win Saturday against Brescia University.
Morgan Brandt (Fatima High School) had three points, four rebounds and one steal against McPherson and posted a double-double against Brescia with 12 points and 11 rebounds. She added one steal and two assists in that game.
