A youth development author will be a guest speaker at Helias Catholic High School Nov. 16 to explain how to make good choices and create personal legacies.
The speaker, Stephen Wallace, was the national chairman and chief executive officer for the Students Against Destructive Decisions club for more than 15 years and is being hosted by the Helias SADD Club.
The mission of the Helias organizationz is to provide fellow students with information needed to ensure safe and sound decisions when it comes to underage drinking, drugs, impaired driving, suicide, bullying and other destructive decisions.
Wallace's initial speech, "Building Your Legacy," will be at 10:15 a.m. Monday for the Helias student body, but there's another opportunity for the public to hear his presentation at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Rackers Field House.
