The Lewis and Clark seventh-grade girls basketball teams opened the season with a sweep of Smithton Middle School of Columbia on Saturday at home.
In the A game, the Lady Blazers won 39-12. Hannah Nilges led with 20 points.
In the abbreviated B game, Lewis and Clark won 12-6.
